District and School Report Cards 2025

February 27, 2026
Dear Families, Guardians, and Caregivers:
Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. Just as your child’s report card shows how they are doing in different subjects, each school’s report card is designed to show families how the district is doing in different areas. A link to our district and school report card is available here: Harvard Public Schools - District Report Cards.
These report cards include multiple measures of performance – more than just MCAS scores. They represent a way of looking at school performance by providing information on student achievement, teacher qualifications, student learning opportunities, and more.
District and school report cards are designed to be useful tools for everyone connected to our school. Families can use the information to have meaningful conversations with us about what their school is doing well and where there is room for improvement. Community and education leaders can use the information to better understand how to support students and our schools.
Highlights noted on our Harvard District and School Report Cards:
The Bromfield High School met or exceeded 92% of its state-defined improvement targets, based on MCAS measures of achievement, growth, English learner progress, and graduation rates.
The Bromfield Middle School met or exceeded 96% of its state-defined improvement targets, based on MCAS measures of achievement, growth, English learner progress, and graduation rates.
99% of our Grade 9 students are passing all of their courses.
90% of our Grade 11 and 12 students are completing Advanced Coursework.
Hildreth received a DESE School of Recognition designation. As part of its annual accountability reporting process, the Department identifies a small number of Schools of Recognition. These schools demonstrate high achievement and high growth and meet or exceed accountability targets.
We always seek ways to improve student performance in our schools. Our District Strategic Plan, Bromfield High School Improvement Plan, Bromfield Middle School Improvement Plan, and Hildreth Elementary School Improvement Plan highlight our efforts towards improvement.
We encourage you to become involved in helping us improve our schools. We see parents as critical partners in the success of our students and school, and we are grateful for your continued support.
Finally, if your child attends a school that receives federal Title I funds, you also have the right to request information about the qualifications of your child’s classroom teacher. If you have questions about our school report cards or would like to become involved in school improvement activities, please contact the school’s principal or me.
Sincerely,
